Landscape photography has to be one of the most popular subjects amongst photographers, and to most of us it is easily accessible. The British landscape which this gallery is based on has some of the finest locations in the world.
In the Landscape photography gallery I display colour and moncohrome photographs of some of my favourite locations. The majority of thees are British and include:
You will find images rendered in colour and black and white. There are also some monochrome images which have been manipulated by adding colour or just an overall tone.
Black and White is still the favourite medium of many traditional photographers. Before digital imaging many monochrome photographs were manipulated in the darkroom to add mood or emphasize light and shade.
I have untill the last few years been mainly concentrating on Black and White photography. However since switching to digital I have started to use colour for my landscape photography. Digital imaging allows me the same freedom to enhance my images in colour as the traditional wet darkroom had done for monochrome.
I have all of my landscape photographs printed on photographic, not inkjet paper. I have found that this gives the best colour, and monochrome reproductions for a true photographic feel.
All of the images in the Landscape photography gallery can be purchased. The images are also available as digital files, contact me for further information. If you are not looking for a print why not take a look in the landscape photography bookshop.
