Colour photography was something that I stayed away from for a few years. I had discovered the darkroom, and what was achievable with the monochrome print, being able to manipulate the feel of an image playing with the tones added a new dimension to my photography.
Thankfully Digital photography has changed all that. I now have the same control over color photography that I have with monochrome, multiplying image making oppourtunites several times over. Now the subject, lighting, location and my own mood determine if I use colour or monochrome. I find some photographs just work better in colour
In many ways digital photography has started a decline in monochrome photography as many new photographers are starting with digital and staying with color having never experienced traditional darkroom work.

All of the images are can be purchased. To ensure a very high print standard my photographs are reproduced on traditional photographic paper.Images can also be purchased as digital files by request.
